Croix Dilenno
Croix DiIenno – Born and raised in the Philadelphia area, Croix walked into JovoDance in 2010 just a few days after his 12th birthday with no dance training of any kind whatsoever. Embraced by the Jovovich family, he diligently cross trained in the multiple disciplines of Ballet, Contemporary, Modern, Tap, Hip Hop, Acrobatics, Jazz and Musical Theater. Musical Theater included extensive Fosse repertoire from Scott Jovovich as well as master class instruction through the Fosse Verdon Legacy with Hinton Battle, Anne Reinking and Nicole Fosse.
In 2016 he received college scholarship offers, accepting a total of $108,000 used to attend Pace University in their Commercial Dance program. At Pace he has had opportunity to study under Emmy award winning choreographers Mandy Moore and Josh Bergasse as well as Jenn Hamilton, Jess Hendricks, Alexandra Damiani, Suzi Taylor, Rhonda Miller and Lauren Gaul. He was chosen by guest choreographers such as Mark Caserta, Paul McGill, Will Tomaskovic of 10 Hairy Legs and Ruth Andrien of The Paul Taylor Dance Company to perform works they set at Pace.
Croix’s summer work included: Hersheypark through the RWS Entertainment Group with choreographer Chip Abbott in the 2017 production of “Dance Dance Dance: Heartbeat.” In 2018 & 2019 at Pittsburgh CLO in productions of Brigadoon, Oklahoma!, Grease and Peter Pan. There, in 2019, he was honored to be voted by the directors and production staff as the winner of the 20thAnnual Julia Deberson Award. He finished his 2019 summer at the Transcendence Dance Theater Company in Sonoma, CA in their production of Those Dancin’ Feet.
He will officially be taking the next step in his professional career with David Parsons and “Parsons Dance,” performing and touring with the company, beginning in January 2020, while finishing his BFA in Commercial Dance degree and graduating in May 2020.
Croix credits JovoDance, especially his mentor to this day, Scott Jovovich, with providing the foundation and the continued support for success!
Matt Emig
Matt Emig is a native to the Philadelphia area. He began dancing at age four and was training privately with Scott Jovovich by age eleven. He began training at JovoDance when it first opened in 2009. In 2011, he received a full-tuition scholarship to study dance performance at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. During his university studies, Matt participated in exchanges with the Royal Conservatory of Dance in Antwerp, BE and the University for Music and Performing Arts in Frankfurt, DE. While studying, Matt performed works by Jirí Kylián, Iván Pérez, Sharon Eyal, and Agostina D’Allesandro.
Matt graduated in 2016 from the University of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honors in Dance Performance and a minor in Musical Theater. He went immediately to participate in Springboard Danse Montreal 2016, where he was offered a contract with MGM China Holdings Limited/Scénoplus Productions. Until November 2018, Matt worked as a dancer, aerialist, puppeteer, and percussionist for MGM in Macau, China. Beginning in 2019, he worked as a dancer in Städtische Bühnen Frankfurt’s production of Rinaldo. He then went on to join the Staatsballett Hannover under the direction of Jörg Mannes as a guest artist. Matt currently works in the south of France with world-renowned Ballet Preljocaj. Without reservation Matt credits his years spent with Scott and the faculty of JovoDance with his wide-spanning career. In a career as an artist, a strong foundation is invaluable.
Andreas Jovovich
Andreas Jovovich – Born and raised in Langhorne, PA started to train seriously in dance at the age of 15 1/2 under the direction of his parents Scott Jovovich, Liz Fitchett Jovovich and an all-star faculty at their studio JovoDance located in Langhorne, PA. After four years of intense training he graduated high school and attended PACE University of Performing Arts and Commercial Dance in NYC, where he was recognized on the Dean’s list and continued to train and work with New York’s finest.
He graduated in 2019 with a BFA in Dance. Along the way he has had several opportunities to work with many well know choreographers in the industry such as Scott Jovovich, Rhonda Miller, Lauren Gaul, Dee Caspry, and Suzi Taylor as well as some well-known choreographers of Broadway and Films such as Andy Blankenbuhler, Josh Begasse, Marguerite Derricks, Al Blackstone . He has performed in Dance Break NYC. He also has had the opportunity to perform and partner in an excerpt of “On The Town” with Misty Copeland and Tony Yazbeck under the direction of Josh Bergasse at the Wolf Trap in Vienna, VA. He also appeared in Season 2 of The Marvelous Mrs Maisel under the direction of Marguerite Derricks.
He recently danced on SNL (Saturday Night Live) as a dancer, performer with the worldwide known music group Coldplay. Andreas currently works with the prestigious dance organization NYCDA (New York City Dance Alliance) and OnStage NY as an assistant. He also coaches, teaches, and choreographs for students in the dance competition industry, which his works and dancers have won several awards. He continues to train in dance and vocals with many of New York’s finest teachers and vocal coaches.
Lynzee Lynn Laychock
Lynzee Lynn Laychock fell in love with dance in the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she was born and raised. It wasn’t until age 13 when she decided to become more serious about dance. Knowing that she had a lot of work to do, she went and trained under the direction of Scott Jovovich and Liz Fitchett Jovovich at JovoDance and stretched her education even further. Currently, she is pursuing her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance, with a minor in Education at Point Park University. Lynzee will be graduating in December 2019.
Lynzee has been blessed with the opportunity to train and perform works by Mark Burrell, Kiesha Lalama, Kiki Lucas, and guest artist Amy Hall Garner at Point Park University. Lynzee’s professional career has developed with three consistent summers working for RWS Entertainment Group. Through RWS, she has had the privilege of working with Chip Abbott in his production of Dance Dance Dance: Heartbeat at Hersheypark, and Melanie Lewis-Yribar and Jason Yribar in their production of Sunset Party Mix at Dorney Park.
Lynzee Lynn Laychock aspires to set high standards of courage, work ethic, and positivity. She strives to demonstrate the meaning of authenticity and creativity in her movement, while bringing nothing but joy to herself and those around her.
Becca Mann
Becca Mann, originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania began her dance training at the age 15 at JovoDance under the direction of
Scott Jovovich and Liz Fitchett Jovovich. She continued to her dance education and earned her BA in dance from DeSales University, having the opportunity to train under Trinette Singleton, Tim Cowart, and Julia Mayo. While at DeSales, Becca had the opportunity to perform pieces choreographed by artists such as Jeff Shade, Jessica Chen, Michio Ito (staging by Kumiko and Imura). As well, she was chosen to perform solo features in work choreographed by Doris Humphrey (staging by Dr. Jessica Van Ort) and Paul Ocampo.
Becca is a current collective member of eSKay Arts Collective based in NYC where she dances as well as choreographs for the collective. In her spare time, Becca teaches at JovoDance in Langhorne PA, and Power and Grace Gymnastics and Dance in Quakertown PA.
Ryan P. McMullen
Ryan P. McMullen received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance from Slippery Rock University and was awarded: The Excellence in Performance Award and The Excellence in Choreography Award. Ryan had the pleasure of working with professional dance artists such as Rodger Belman, Rennie Harris, Alexandre Munz, Ursula Payne, André Zachery, Jawole Zollar, and more. Ryan received his Master of Fine Arts degree in Performance and Choreography from Florida State University, a three-time recipient of the Men’s Provost Scholarship.
Ryan presented work at Dixon Place, Dogtown Dance Theatre, Small Plates Choreography Festival, Koresh Dance Company’s Come Together Festival, Louisburg College, Exchange Dance Festival, Slippery Rock University, Gibney Dance Center, NewGrounds Dance Festival, and Florida State University. Ryan was on faculty at Cab Calloway School of the Arts Summer Program, Suzanne Farrell’s Young Dancers Workshop, Forge Summer Dance Intensive, DeSales University Summer Dance Intensive, and The American College Dance Association, The Middle Tennessee Youth Ballet, and The Tallahassee Ballet. Ryan is currently Director of Dance at Louisburg College, where he is the Artistic Director of Louisburg Dance Company. In addition to teaching, Ryan also dances with Elevate, a dance performance and production company based in Raleigh, NC.
